What Is Coconut Jelly?

Originating in the Philippines, nata de coco or coconut jelly is a chewy, translucent, jelly-like dessert crafted by the process of fermenting coconut water into a gel form. In simpler terms, they are an automatic sweet tooth satisfier. The chewiness and sweet smelling scent of lychee will leave you wanting more.

The Benefits of Coconut Jelly

A great source of dietary fiber and low in cholesterol and fat, Tea Zone offers five delicious ready-to-serve flavors as a healthier alternative to boba and a yummy addition to drinks, desserts, puddings, and much more!

Suggested Use

Dilute with water, stir, and taste!

If you don’t want to dilute it, try this…

Unsweetened green/black tea

30% sugar milk tea + pudding

30% sugar lychee green/black tea

Any tea w/ 30% sugar

(undiluted lychee jelly can also act as an added sweetener)

FAQ

What shape are the jellies?

Bite-sized rectangles. In order to drink without a jelly-jam, you will need to use a boba straw!

How to make it less sweet?

Rinse the jellies with cold water before using. The more you dilute it the less sweet it would be. Also, since the jelly is already sweet by itself, try balancing the drink out by making the milk tea or tea less sweet.

How do you store this product?

Keep in its original packaging container until use. Avoid excessive heat or moisture and constant exposure to light. Be sure that you scoop out the jelly with clean utensils. In order to keep the jelly fresh, be sure to tightly secure the cap of the jar after usage.
